"Playing with Binoculars" (IF)
I was playing around with a still life, using contour line with acrylic wash. I had fun experimenting so I thought it kind of fit the theme of "Play" for Illustration Friday. I'll be putting up an illo on my blog Sketchbook Pages in a couple of days. It's the next installment of "Pinky & the Blue-Freckled Butterfly."

great colors, great interpretation of the topic. I realy like this.
nice one, I like how you emphasised the line, cubist-like.
beautiful colors !!!
did you see a blue horse playing ???
the vivid colors are nice :) and everything is composed very well. thanks for sharing!
The yellows running through this peice really bring it out. A really interesting technique. Reminds me of a blend of cubism, plus with all the vivid colors, impressionistic. Thanks for sharing! Very nice!
WOW ! This is beautiful, love the bright color and style!
Nice colors!
love the bold colors and the use of the yellow contour line
I thought you'd vanished, but you were just playing on another blog (which also looks quite good, btw - just had a quick spin through the archives). I love this piece, light seems to come through it, like a stained glass window.
looks like stained glass...i like the effect!
this is very playful. beautiful color. I like this a lot!
Gracias infinitas por tus cálidos comentarios. Quise venir a contestarte a tu(s) blog(s), muy interesantes y llenos de noticias y tips (ya que también hago ilustración para libros infantiles-juveniles). "Amenazo" con venir muy seguido. A vuestros pies, siempre.
wow... the colours really captured my attention! beautiful!
It looks like a batik printing which the parts of the fabric not intended to be dyed are covered with removable wax.
WOW! Really pretty, great bright colors! Mary (Imagik)
